Over the years, we have seen an increase in the need for professional speakers in the Risk Management area. Now with the advent of Sarbannes-Oxley if a company wants an audited statement the CPA must do a risk assessment, part of that risk assessment needs to include an analysis of a company’s insurance and workers compensation plan. Every accountant who performs a risk assessment needs to have working knowledge of Insurance products and Workers Compensation to provide an audited statement or employ a certified Risk Manager to perform this function.
Creative Risk Management responded by creating a speakers bureau specifically focused on those areas. Each speaker has become fluent in the issues and trends surrounding the risk management industries. Ted Pappas
Ted is President and CEO of The McLaughlin Company and Vice President of Creative Risk Management, Inc. with over thirty years of experience in the insurance industry. He designed the original Union Liability Insurance Program and was the moving force in bringing it to market. Ted is a regular speaker, presenter and panelist on a myriad of insurance and fiduciary issues. Mr. Pappas obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Ted has recently presented programs on:

- Workers Compensation – The Hidden Risks
- Fiduciary Insurance Programs for Multi-Employer Plans

Brenda Mantz
Brenda Mantz joined the McLaughlin Company in 1974, and she is now President of Creative Risk Management and Executive Vice President of the McLaughlin Company. Brenda received her degree from the College of William and Mary. Brenda is a specialist in the areas of Directors and Officers Liability and Fidelity and Surety where she is a regular speaker, panelist and expert witness. She has obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation as well as her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. She is also a novelist look for her most recent novel soon to be published Pungo Creek. Recent Talks and Panels include:

Cheri Brewer
Cheri is a Vice-President of the McLaughlin Company and the manager of our Property and Casualty Department. She is a specialist in the areas of Property, General and Professional Liability, and Construction coverages. For the McLaughlin Company's Fund clients she is responsible for risk management consulting services including risk retention studies and analysis of necessary insurance limits, business and professional practices, underwriting surveys, insurance contracts and insurance policy drafting and compilation. She is an advisor to some of the largest Pension Funds in the United States. Cheri attained the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and is working on her Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. Mrs. Brewer is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Webb Hubbell
Webb Hubbell joined the McLaughlin Company as a Vice-President in 2003. Prior to coming to DC, he practiced Insurance Law in Little Rock, Arkansas for over 20 years, served as Mayor of Little Rock and Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. He came to DC and served as Associate Attorney General of the United States in the Clinton Administration. He received his BSEE and JD with honors from the University of Arkansas. Webb regularly speaks and serves as a panelist on risk prevention strategies, insurance, and conflicts of interest. Webb has authored numerous articles and a book Friends in High Places, published by William Morrow & Co. in 1997. He also publishes a highly popular blog at http://webbsays.blogspot.com. Webb has also obtained his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation and his Certified Workers Compensation (CWCA) designation. Recently he spoke on:
